The sustainable farming course provides the knowledge and skills to introduce sustainable farming techniques and methods to improve productivity of the land. The course runs for 10 weeks. It combines video tutorials, written texts, online journals, farm-based projects and group online discussions and covers topics including:
Blended learning and online programs are especially designed for people who find it hard to attend learning programs on a weekly basis or during the day. It comprises eight training sessions, most of which take place online. The five online sessions allow you to learn at your own pace. There are also three face-to-face classes, one to get participants started and two more throughout the course to help students with any topics that might be causing difficulties. These face-to-face classes can be held at a central location convenient as possible for everyone taking part in the course so long as internet access is available.
