Special five-hour professional workshop - low price

Are you interested in sound or film production? Would you like to work in these areas, move on to further study or even start your own small business?  If so, we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for people to take part in a five-hour introductory film and sound production workshop. This workshop is a “taster” to a more comprehensive workshop to working with video and sound experts. It will introduce you to the process of how to create high-quality sound recordings and videos.

Please note we are accepting enrolments on a first come-first served basis.

Special FIVE-HOUR course

 Are you thinking of returning to work or have you just left school and are not sure what next to do next? If so, we may be able to set you on the right track with this special one-day workshop.

The workshop will help you to develop a personal profile and design an individual and realistic “Career Action Plan”, based on your own skills, experience and preferences. It aims to build confidence and skills to support you to the next phase of your life by assisting you to:

  • discover your key skills and attributes,
  • identify employability skills within your industry of choice and identify employer expectations in that industry,
  • match your interests to career planning and employment options so you can develop a career action plan,
  • source training opportunities and gain enrolment into a relevant  training course ,
  • develop the documents you need to apply for jobs (resume, application letter, addressing selection criteria),
  • find out what to expect at an interview, and
  • how to present yourself to best advantage in line with industry standards.




Like to get together with others interested in taking photos and exchanging tips and ideas? Maybe go on the odd excursion as a group to take photos? The focus of group is on digital cameras, but does not exclude those using film (no darkroom facilities available).
