Training:    1 day a week for 4 sessions - Next course starting on Monday September 2nd, 2019.
Time:          10 - 2.30 pm - approx.



Learn the principles of “Permaculture & Horticulture” with hands on learning. This course can provide you with basic work-related skills relevant to work in the Horticulture sector, or help you if you have an interest and desire to learn more about horticulture and permaculture and how you can incorporate the principles at home.
It is an introductory course that leads into the accredited horticulture Certificate courses. It can help you decide what certificate course is right for you, or if you want to take on further studies or not. It is also great for those who are returning to study as adult mature age students who may be thinking of undertaking further studies on these subjects. Pre accredited courses are gently paced and ease you back into study in a fun way. During the course you’ll build up a portfolio of samples that may help you gain paid or volunteer employment, start your own home-based business, or go on to study for a Certificate III in Fashion Design and Technology, Certificate III in Clothing and Textile Production or a small business course.

In this new course learners will be guided using a self-discovery POWER-coaching model to set your study/training/work/career goals. By assessing your life now and where you want to be and what you want to achieve, you will able to make more personally targeted goals for achieving a more successful outcome. This course is about helping you with your study/work plan and what you want to do and how you can go about to achieve it.

Do you have a skill that you could teach but lack the  confidence or knowledge in how to do that? Or do you need to learn what skills you need to be able to teach at our Centre or other education centres?  Then this course can help you learn to plan and design a basic effective training course. Learn how to communicate effectively and gain techniques to be able to provide encouragement and coaching and to evaluate your learners and your own performance.

DAYS:          Tuesdays or Fridays                   
DATES:        August 6th or 9th (6 weeks)
TIME:           11 pm ~ 3 pm
FEES:            $115.00 (BYO lunch)
