Testimonials

“The idea of going back into classes and trying to kickstart a career after being a ‘mum’ was pretty terrifying for me. But having people here at the Learning Centre that cared and wanted to support me all the way has been amazing —you’re still nervous, but you know someone’s got your back. And now, here I am, facing those fears and making progress. I am so grateful for the encouragement that pushed me past the scared stage!”

ACFE barista student, 29 years old.

“I was so hesitant about returning to study at an older age and after being an early school leaver and not ever doing well at school, but the warmth and encouragement I found at the Community Learning Centre made me realise that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams.”

Lucy, ACFE ‘Digital Skills’ course.

“Fear held me back from returning to study at 30, I thought I was too old to start a career, but the Learning Centre turned that fear into a challenge. It’s where I found the support to face my anxieties and the courage to pursue my career goals.”

Tania, Business Skills courses.
