New Haddon Playgroup

We are starting a new Playgroup at The Haddon CLC in 2025.

Our aim is to create a relaxed, open and friendly group that gets together every Monday morning here at The Centre.

A playgroup brings together children aged 0-5 years with their parents and carers to play, share, learn and connect. Playgroup’s provide an opportunity for those in the early years to connect with others going through similar ages and stages.

Playgroup’s can help children to develop social skills, motor skills and enjoy early learning experiences in a safe and supportive environment. In a playgroup, children might play with toys, participate in arts and crafts, sing songs, read books together and enjoy the outdoors – among many other activities suitable for their age range.

Playgroup’s are a shared experience for both parent and child. It is meant to be of mutual benefit to all involved – including those who volunteer or facilitate the group.

Playgroup’s can be hugely beneficial for parents and caregivers, allowing them to connect, share experiences and support one another on their parenting journey.
